DeBoers last season as coach was marred by a lack of depth at the forward positions, with many of his most effective forwards failing to play in any of the Leafs’ six playoff games.

Heading into this season, DeBoering had been looking for a new coach to take over the reins, and was desperate to find one who could get him into the playoffs.

DeBoergs latest job was in Nashville, where he was hoping to build on the success of a championship run that saw him lead the Predators to a seventh consecutive playoff berth.

After that success, he was fired by the Predators, and it was only a matter of time before he was replaced.

But, with the Leafs looking to find another top-line centre, DeBoer was the perfect fit.

In fact, Deboers last NHL coaching job was a fantastic one, as he led the Canucks to a second straight Stanley Cup.

After all, he had already coached a couple of NHL teams to their second Cup, and had led the Predators and Canucks to their first since 1998.

He was a coach who was able to turn his team around, and bring them to a Stanley Cup championship.

But this year, the Leafs need to look at a different direction, and get another head coach.

It’s not the first time DeBoerns name has been mentioned in the media as a possible coach of the Toronto Maple Leafs, as rumors about the club hiring former Canucks assistant Brian Burke first surfaced.

But it’s not as if he’s been looking to take a job anywhere.

DeBois was hired by the Leafs as a coach, and while he was given a contract, he never really had the chance to work in Toronto.

He only spent two seasons in the NHL as an assistant, and that wasn’t enough to see any NHL success.

De Boers career in Nashville was a disaster.

In his final season, the Predators won the Presidents’ Trophy, which is the league’s most prestigious award, but were unable to advance past the second round.

They were a disappointing 6-10-2, and in his final game, De Boering’s team was shut out 3-0 by the Ottawa Senators.

It didn’t help that the Predators also lost their playoff series to the Islanders in the second game of the series.

And, De Boes first coach, Martin Brodeur, left the franchise after just two seasons, after leading the Predators into the post-season for just the second time in franchise history.

It seemed like a lost season for DeBoerrs tenure in Nashville.

The Leafs also hired a coach from the Vancouver Canucks organization in Jeff Blashill, who brought a much different look to the organization.

The team finished the season with the best record in the entire NHL, but the team went 8-11-2.

De Boshers record was even better, winning the Presidents Trophy for the first straight season.

However, DeBlashill has yet to be able to make the Leafs a playoff team, and this is the second season in a row that the Leafs have gone 0-16-0, and are one point out of the playoffs for the second straight season after the 2015-16 season.

It was an ugly season for the Leafs, and the loss of DeBoered, who is now coaching in the AHL, leaves the team in a bit of a bind.

But the Leafs did finally make a run in the playoffs, and they could have made some noise by signing a top-pairing centre, as De Boer was one of the few Leafs who could actually put up a decent offensive number on the top line.

But while DeBoerer was an excellent coach, he wasn’t a top player, and his contract expired in 2017.

This year, with DeBoerters departure, the team has been searching for a top winger.

It wasn’t just the Leafs that were looking for top talent to bring back to the fold.

After acquiring Tyler Bozak and James van Riemsdyk from the Toronto Marlies in exchange for defenseman Zach Hyman and defenceman Travis Dermott, the Maple Leafs went out and drafted a player with the highest potential of any player in the Leafs system.

The 21-year-old, Connor Brown, is a natural scorer, and he is coming off a year in which he put up 33 points in 64 games for the Marlies.

The Toronto Maple Leaf Hockey Club has also been trying to bring in a top defensive prospect in Rasmus Ristolainen, who had 24 points in 54 games for Stockholm in the SHL last season.

The Maple Leafs have been in the market for a quality defenceman since the 2017 Stanley Cup Finals, and Brown was a key piece of that.

But as of now, the club is looking to move on from the forward position.

The Marlies had two other forwards who could be a top pairing player, but
